Jae’s dream comes true!

Several weeks ago Dreamz4u received a dream request from Jae Moffat’s mum Lana and as a result Jae has proved to be the luckiest lad in Fife as his dream came true.

Clan Films from Aberdeen recently offered Dreamz4u the opportunity to film a new promotional DVD and thanks to a very generous donation from Christopher Adams, Dreamz4u were able to accept the Clan Films proposal. Christopher Adams is the CEO of Rochen Performance Hosting and was delighted to hear that we had chosen Jae to be the star of the film. Jae is a 12 year old boy who unfortunately was in a car crash 3 years ago and since then has undergone some very tough times. Jae and his parents have worked hard to overcome the problems that he was left with by the accident and Lana felt that as a reward he deserved to have a dream.

Dreamz4u were impressed by the simplicity of Jae’s dream requests.

The first was to stay in a hotel and have room service; the second was something to do with Rangers Football Club; and the third was to visit Cairnie Fruit Farm and have a shot on the go-carts.

As Dreamz4u required a variety of footage for their DVD, volunteers managed to organise an assortment of treats for Jae. Firstly Jae would to be taken to Cairnie Fruit Farm and have a ride on the go-carts; a helicopter would collect Jae and his Mum from the farm and fly them to Dundee Airport where a chauffeur driven car would take them to the Dundee Hilton; in the evening Jae would be driven through to Ibrox Stadium to be presented with a framed signed Rangers FC shirt by some of the players and watch the European match against Bursaspor; back to Dundee to the Hilton hotel and some much needed rest. The following morning after breakfast Jae would be driven to Wave 102 where he would be interviewed about his dream. From there Jae and Lana would be driven to Knockhill where Jae would receive hospitality and driven around the circuit before going home to tell his siblings about his exciting two days.

Sadly the weather meant that some of the treats had to be cancelled or postponed as the track at Cairnie Fruit Farm was flooded and the helicopter could not fly but other than that everything else pretty much went ahead as planned.

Dreamz4u would have been unable to contemplate organizing Jae’s dream without the help
and co-operation of the following individuals and companies: Cameron Laird, Cairnie Fruit Farm; Richard Bailey the helicopter owner and pilot; Marilyn Manderson, Margaret Dempster and Stuart Cran of the Dundee Hilton Hotel; Stuart Gray, Knockhill Racing Circuit; and Pat O'Donnell from Dundee Private Hire who has been chauffeuring Jae and Lana around Dundee and Fife.
